On May 1, 1994 the ground at 68 Wallace Road in Sturgis, Kentucky was broken to begin the construction of C & C Ford-Mercury's brand new fleet/mobility department.

Upon completion of the building, the fleet/mobility staff moved to this facility. The facility, including the building, front parking lot for staff and customers, as well as the back lot that holds inventory waiting to be upfitted with mobility products, sits on 2 acres at the Sturgis Industrial Park.

The actual building was designed to give the fleet/mobility department more office space for day to day activities, while giving the mobility installation technicians the space and equipment they required to complete their jobs both accurately and in a timely manner.

The mobility department utilizes different products while constructing our handicapped equipped vehicles, these include fiberglass raised roofs from Millennium Van Tops, Inc., wheelchair tie-downs from Q-Straint, vehicle wheelchair lifts from the Braun Corporation and Ricon Corporation, Sure Grip Hand Controls manufactured by Howell Ventures, and MPD Hand Controls manufactured by Mobility Products Design.

Since 1995, C & C Mobility, a division of C & C Ford-Mercury, has received the Outstanding Sales of Braun Mobility Products Award from The Braun Corporation.

Each of the technicians employed by C & C Mobility is certified by The Braun Corporation and Ricon Lifts to ensure quality conversion for all of our customers.
